The Blue Jay Lodge and Cafe is a family owned and operated roadside resort located in Placerville, a small Colorado town just below Telluride along Highway 145. Designed to be an affordable alternative to the many luxury resort facilities in Telluride, the lodge and cafe offers comfortable amenities for its frequent guests. The facility features a quaint fourteen room lodge building linked to a ground level restaurant and tavern space. The predominantly rusted metal roofs and natural wood siding were used to help blend the buildings with their native surroundings. The Blue Jay Lodge and Cafe also serves as an extremely popular gathering place for many of the area locals.
